Tranquility on the Lake

The peaceful environs of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, are the setting for this country home designed to take the most advantage of its idyllic lakeside setting.  The house which formerly existed on the site was built close to the water’s edge and within a stream corridor.  Therefore, the new house was required to maintain the existing footprint of the original.  Great care was taken during the construction to protect the surrounding environment filled with wildlife and birds.  The entire house, from the screen porch to the first floor master suite to the second floor office and exercise room with observation deck, was built to take best advantage of the views and landscaped surroundings.  The pallet of stone and natural materials used on the exterior was intended to help the structure fit into its setting.

Medford Lakes Estates

The setting for this house deep in the woods on a lake in Medford Lakes, New Jersey, required strict adherence to environmental guidelines, setbacks and lot coverage.  This family home was designed with a combination of lakeside recreation living and year-round utility in mind.  From the vast expanses of windows overlooking the lake to the use of natural materials in the design, the home was designed to fit comfortably into its site.

Queen of Stone Harbor

No expense was spared nor amenity overlooked in the design of this vacation retreat in Stone Harbor, New Jersey.  The home was designed to accommodate our clients’ large family and a variety of recreation and leisure pastimes.  In the design of the home and the interiors, great care was given to thinking about timeless features and materials that will work well from brand new to the time the owners’ grandchildren are using the home many years from now.

Beachfront in Bethany Beach

This beachfront home in Bethany Beach, Delaware has four stories of living space with the main living area on the second floor level for views over the dunes.  The living room is two stories tall with a wall of windows facing the ocean for the sea and sky views.  One unique feature of the home is an enclosed porch separated from the living area by a folding wall system that completely disappears so as to expand the living space by 25 percent in the fair weather, and really brings the outside into the house.  Topping off the home is a master suite with views up and down the beach as well as out into the ocean; incorporated into this is a home office and private outside shower off the master bath including a small hot tub for total relaxation.

Brigantine Sand Castle

No expense was spared in the construction of this spectacular three story home overlooking the inlet between Brigantine and Atlantic City.  Views of the spectacular skyline from the beach to the marina fill the floor to ceiling glass walls.  The interior spaces are designed to accommodate the 35+ family members using the home at any given time. Limestone floors throughout, including the stairs, provide a low maintenance solution to sandy wet feet.  The Master Bath is finished floor to ceiling in marble slabs.  The bedroom suites are designed to give comfort and privacy for the family’s grown children, and there is plenty of space for all of the grandchildren.
